The site chosen for SPO Multan had numerous mature trees present. Recognizing the importance of these trees in maintaining ecological balance and aesthetic appeal, the project was planned to ensure that none of the trees would be cut down or replaced. The building’s layout was designed around the existing trees, incorporating them into the overall landscape. This approach not only preserved the natural beauty of the site but also created a harmonious integration between the built environment and nature.
Small Project’s Office (SPO) is a non-governmental organisation located in Multan, Southern Punjab, this facility comprises an office, training centre, and hostel, all housed within a brick building.
The building for SPO Multan is entirely constructed using brick, which ensures structural integrity and aligns with the area’s traditional architectural style. The bricks are sourced locally, promoting the use of indigenous materials and supporting the local economy.
SPO Multan draws inspiration from successful initiatives such as the National Rural Support Programme (NRSP) and the Sindh Rural Support Organization (SRSO).
